Ladies by DT was formed to not only help charities but, acknowledge those who give back.
Founder,
Kelly Ann Stafford had been working on Doggy Tug Private label pet accessories for quite a
while. When the economy began to decline and donations to numerous foundations and
organizations hit a record low, she decided to put her focus on something that gives the
customer a quality item for their pet, while at the same time giving back to help those
less fortunate.
Having
been active in the pet industry since 2006 and involved in numerous charitable causes, her
compassion for animals was something she felt was a priority when it came to expanding her
line.
She
began by choosing some of her most Charitable and likeminded friends to help her on this
venture.
Hence
the name, "CLASSY" Ladies by DT... Charitable, Loving, Aware, Sympathetic,
Sincere, and Yielding.
Ms.
Stafford asked these women from across the globe to send her a photo of themselves, their
favorite charity and to give her an idea for a "charm" design that represents
the message they are trying to send.
The
charms are attached to the collars, leashes and pet beds of the customer’s choice.
They
are also being used to adorn key chains, zipper pulls and anywhere else the customers feel
they would like to be used.
The
leashes are available in 4ft. X .7 inches (standard) and 4ft. X 2 inches (large) depending
on the size and strength of the breed.
C.L.A.S.S.Y. Ladies also offers the 10in. “short
leash” for added control, training and service dog maneuvering.
All
of our leashes have padded handles for added comfort and extremely durable hardware.
The
collars are available in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large.
We
also offer “charm free” leashes and collars made with our signature, custom
buckles and quality materials. Leashes are
available in 5ft. X ¾ inches and the collar size available is 7in.-12in. X ¾ inches.
The
hardware consists of superior quality custom buckles, reinforced stitching and grommets in
all loopholes.
Portions
of the net profits will be evenly distributed to charities chosen by the ladies, ranging
from the WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) to Autism Speaks, Doggy Tug
and the active Ladies in the group.
Anyone
purchasing a C.L.A.S.S.Y. product will be donating to all charities.
